The M1 Katherine Road Bridge links Alexandra, Sandton, Kramerville and Wendywood. The bridge will be used also by Rea Vaya buses when the Rea Vaya becomes operational in October 2018 making it possible for buses to move swiftly from Alexandra over the M1 and come down in the middle of Katherine Ave on the west side into Sandton.
