FNB Stadium, also known as Soccer City, was initially built between in 1986 and was completed in 1989 with a stadium capacity of 80,000. The stadium is located in Nasreen, Johannesburg.
In 2009, the stadium received a major upgrade in preparation for the 2010 World Cup which led to an increased capacity increased of 95,000.
